Nelson's Funny Farm

Here we see bandit showing off Anita, Opal's first baby with the Nelsons. He is just as proud as can be--almost as if he were the daddy!

This is Myha's latest litter of puppies, born while Janet was in Florida helping her father through surgery. There are 4 boys and 1 girl. All are healthy and happy!

"...and I want a new bridle...and my own mineral block...and a nice mud puddle to roll around in...oh yeah, and a big bag of peppermint candies!"

Anita as a new filly (taken April, '05)

This is Hannah, who unfortunately passed away on December 7, 2006 at the ripe old age of 25. She was a purebred Welsh Corgi (registered name--Hot Shot Hannah.) In case you hadn't noticed, she really loved the snow.

We miss you Hannah.

Here's a picture of Krystal and Opal conspiring to get into some kind of trouble. Or maybe they're just comparing the lengths of their noses.

Here is Myha with her litter of puppies. Myha's mother is a purebred German Shorthair. Her father is a "sneaky neighbor dog."

This is Twilight. Some nice Amish people gave her to the boys. She has one escape on her record, but she didn't wander very far. Scotty was able to recover her and now she's back home.

This is Thomas. Thomas likes to sleep in the chair when he is not out in the barn breaking in horses.

Scotty is Assistant chore doer and hug dispenser. He helps with the chores and gives hugs to all the horses.
